Susahnya Nak Cari Apps untuk Winmo

Disappointed.

One word to describe my feeling towards Windows Mobile (Winmo).

I have started using Winmo since 1 and half years ago (Winmo 6.5). During that time, internet connection just bergantung kepada wireless. Before this I only use this smart phone for basic usage such as texting, and call. Sekarang dah 2011. Dah boleh pakai broadband on phone. Perkembangan ni has opened my eyes mengenai functionality baru untuk smart phone. + kemunculan iPhone 4, Blackberry and Andriod platform yang semakin meluas menyebabkan Winmo semakin tenggelam. Before this I wonder y some peoples hate Winmo. Now I know and realized why is that happening.

Last 2 weeks was my 1st time masuk ke Marketplace. Tempat ni +- Appstore and Android Market. In other words it is quite similar mcm ‘lubuk’ utk download application. Before this I have read some reviews about iPhone for example. Many reviews said that anything pon kene purchase. While for Winmo, there are many free apps available <—boooo! + the choices are very limited.

My target just one, to get an application that allows me to use Yahoo Messenger. Here, there are very few-limited-alternative applications such as IM+ <—it costs $19+. I have tried another options (free); IMO, MEEBO. Only available for iPhone, Andriod, and Blackberry.

How about Winmo?

Lebih mengecewakan when sekarang ni Winmo dah ada Winmo 7 and will be upgraded to Winmo 8. While Winmo 6.5 seperti dah xpernah wujud and apps avail pon dah outdated.

Last weekend, my brother went back from KL. We spent our time together to hangout and get some stuffs because PADINI has sent me a notification regarding SALE during that weekend for their members.

VINCCI is one of the outlet under PADINI’s brand. If you noticed, VINCCI outlet is currently my favorite heels’ shop. Their great items come together with the great and affordable price.

My eyes were freeze at these 3 heels. They looks really comfy and kind of sexy.

Another thing that I like about this heels (or wedges <—betul ke eja ha??) is the pattern kat sisi ni. It looks not that plain not that meriah.

It looks really elegance, random, formal, and unique style. For me, this pattern is more suitable for professional-office environment.

Comfortable? YES IT IS!

Due to that, my brother has bought me my first choice.

As far as i know kat foreign country skrg tgh musim bunga. Musim bunga di Penang sat jek pastuh musim panas. For foreigners yang wish to have summer holiday, now is the best time to come to Penang.

Durian Gemok2

Hari ni hari Jumaat. Dah lama ku nantikan hari ni untuk beli durian kat pasar malam Putrajaya. Since malas nk beramai2 di pasar malam tu, I went there quite early. 3 PM sudah gerak g sana. So mmg tak ramai la. Some of peniaga pon tengah setup barang2 meniaga. Pusing2… jumpe la 1 gerai durian. Dengan hati yang girang sebab dah lama ngidam… ku beli 2 bijik. Lepas tu terus menuju ke rumah sambil memandu dengan mematuhi had laju sehingga kan bau durian yang diletakkan di dalam kotak mineral water telah melebar sayapnya kebahagian cabin kete. Perut pon berlagu Hip Hop craving nak makan durian. I believe masa tap ID kat gate depan tu mesti pak guard yang jaga tu pon tergoda dengan penangan bau durian ni. Bila dah sampai rumah… dengan cepatnya durian diseludup masuk dan dikopek 1 persatu.
 

Ni buah yang pertama. Buah yang kedua pon gemok2 mcm ni jugak. Sebiji ada 5-6 ulas je. Tapi setiap ulas tu gemok. Patut la berat ko masa timbang nak beli td berat bangat! Berpeluh aku nk byr.

TIPS untuk membeli durian:

1. Beli durian hanya bila ada pesaing berniaga di kawasan yang sama
2. Try negotiate harga
3. Pilih sendiri buah yang mana yang kita nak.
4. Kalau dorg yang pilih, check dulu kulit dia sama ada ok ke tak or ada lubang ke x. jangan tengok isi je.
5. Mintak peniaga tolong belah siap2 kat bawah buah tu supaya senang untuk dikopek nanti

TIPS untuk hilangkan bau durian

1. Letakkan sekeping roti putih pada tempat yang berbau durian tu (dalam cabin or boot kete or dalam rumah). Roti ni akan menyerap bau durian tu.
2. Untuk bau mulut, gosok gigi
3. Untuk bau nafas, makan roti putih beberapa keping.

We always put some creamer into our drink to replace the use of milk. Even for common 3in1 drinks, one of the major ingredients is creamer. Do you ever think about what is creamer? Flour? Powder milk?

There are 2 types of creamer: dairy and non-dairy.

Dairy creamer (Krimer berasaskan tenusu)

Based on milk source (lactose)

Non-Dairy creamer (Krimer tanpa tenusu)

This type of creamer is an alternative way for lactose intolerant individual to taste creamy drinks. But this kind of creamer is made by many artificial ingredients. Berikut adalah bahan2 yang selalunya terkandung dalam non-dairy creamer; Pepejal Sirap Glukosa, Lemak Sayuran (trans fat), Natrium Kaseinat (casein protein), Pengemulsi, Penstabil dan Natrium Silikoaluminat.

Many non-dairy creamers contain partially hydrogenated vegetable oils, a type of trans fat. Ianya dibuat daripada lemak palm kernel oil untuk mendapat rasa yang smooth. “Of course using low fat or skim milk adalah lebih berkhasiat dicampur dgn kopi or tea with less sugar. 3 in 1 also may have higher calories. So practise moderation and try not to eat too often”, tambah beliau.

Don’t get shock to know that some of non-dairy creamer may also contain casein protein (primary protein that is found in dairy products. Tips:

Bacalah label sebelum beli. Jika they only provides “non-dairy creamer” pada ingredient, ia berkemungkinan mengandungi semua/mana2 bahan2 yang disebutkan di atas. Kadang kala pengusaha akan melabel secara detail mengenai bahan2 non-dairy creamer ni.

Slurpee Tutti Frutti is Back!!!!!!

This flavor was the first of Slurpee’s flavor that I tasted – Form 5, Secondary school. It’s hard to find this flavor nowadays because 7Eleven has came out with some various flavors such as orange tangerine, mango bla3… I couldn’t remember those ‘cool’ names.

Tonight, I was like a little kids when I saw this flavor… “OMG… It’s tutti fruitti!!!!”. During I was a school kids and uni-teenagers, I was able to finished it in Giant size cup. But now,  I only pick the smallest cup. But that is enough to ‘cure’ my kerinduan for this drink.

Japanese Green Tea

Last few days I went to a shopping mall and suddenly I was thinking about green tea. I went to a shop to get a box of it. The first time I drink this tea was during a workshop held in Penang last year if I am not mistaken. That was the first time I drink green tea and I have fallen in love with the taste.



Based on the label (biggest font written in japanese), this tea leaves’ type is Sencha (煎茶^?, decocted tea). This is the typical type of Japanese green tea.

Why green tea and not black tea??
Let me share with you the health effects of this type of tea (summarized from wikipedia).

Cold Storage: Favorite Shop to get Fresh Fruit and Vegetables

I love to eat fruit – including cherry tomato. I have found the ‘x-factor’ of this shop last year because it’s hard to find fresh cherry tomato around Bangi or Putrajaya.

This is the ‘must buy’ product for every week.

kebetulan… hari tu ada processed nangka or jackfruit. Very sweet!

For a un-married person like me, I love to get fruit or stuffs like this because of the ease and this is the amount that I suppose to take. But this is not suitable for big family for example because the price is higher than you buy a whole jackfruit and cut by yourself.

Another reason that I love to buy goods from Cold Storage is……

Yves Rocher Alamanda

Yves Rocher has opened a new branch – Alamanda Putrajaya. Since this is a new opening shop, the salesgirls are very friendly and helpful – same like in France. *thumbs up*

I look at the window and there are some promotion pack for perfume – I will drag my brother to come here soon. I get something for myself and be a member of Yves Rocher (my goal actually).

The lipstick from this brand is VERY GOOD!!! Its really moisturize my lips. This is a 'worth-it' product to get.

Me: Gulp. Then yang ada miniature ni berapa? Can I smell it again?

… I smelled 3 perfumes …

Me: How much will the single perfume cost?

… Calling my brother …

Me: Wei, yg ada miniature tu is cost RM 1 more than without miniature.

Brother: NVM just get with miniature.

… Hang-up and keep on smelling …

Me: This one (without miniature) smells good. I will take this one.

Brother: Where is the miniature?

Me: Owh miniature tu is another set. This one is single and no promotion. The smell is much better than the one with miniature (without any guilty feeling for wrong information)

… I am letting him smells the samples on paper …

Brother: Hmm… wangi but I couldn’t differentiate them

• Need to prepare some extra budget OR just say NO to the goods
• Make sure check the type of perfume is for HIM or for HER
• Don’t get over excited while shopping because you will missed the important point/term

Dik Cerdas Volume 1 has been spotted at one of the magazine shop in Alamanda, Putrajaya!!! Those who’s peminat fanatik Crayon Shin Chan and missed to get this comic before, you can still get it now!!! – need to keep up to date with magazine shop! I believe from now on they will re-sell the previous volume starting from Volume 1 onwards. I can’t wait to get more shin chan’s comic!!!

New Glasses for My Eyes

Finally I have decided to make a new glasses because I wasn’t able recognize people anymore. After I have done with my surveys, I went to Menara Optometry, near to Warta/Bintang Bandar Baru Bangi. Their service is superb and the staffs are very kind and helpful.
Since I need to save some of the budget, I just pick the ‘student price’ promotion which the price displayed is including the ‘kanta’ (malas nak pakai translator).

I took quite a longer time to decide which frame suits to my face.

Shopping: High Heels

Dear shopaholic no matter what is your gender, today, SUNDAY 16 January 2011 is the final day of SALE specially for Padini members at all PADINI Holdings’ outlet (VINCCI, PDI, PADINI, SEED, MIKI, P&Co). Yesterday, I went to Alamanda to see is there any interesting item on sale by VINCCI’s shop.

And yeah, the sale is from 20% up to 50% off (for PADINI members only). I tried to find myself a pair of high heels.

My first choice… but the color that i have chosen is blue jeans color – no size. The sales girl gave me the brown one.

My second choice.. more ‘berani’

The last one… it looks good and really cute before I wear it…

but then… looks not good on me.
