Last few weeks, my father’s friend has invited us to dine here. The specialty of this restaurant is their fried ‘Koey Teow’ – Superb sedap!

 

The place is quite cozy and equipped with air-conditioner. Thank Allah that night tak ramai sangat. Maybe sebab hujan kot.

Here is their menu. Harga yang ditawarkan adalah sangat berpatutan.

Sangat sedap and sangat kaya dengan udang dan kerang. I love it so much sebab every bites for sure akan ada udang or kerang.

I have also tried this Mee Kari (RM4.00)

The curry is yummy. They are also provide this meal together with sambal. So if you prefer lebih pedas, you may add it into your curry.

 

So, for those yang nak datang ke Doli, waktu perniagaan adalah 12.00pm – 11.00pm. Ia dibuka setiap hari kecuali Jumaat.
Eh... sama lak ngan tulisan kat atas tu.

Lokasi? Ia terletak berdekatan dengan Taman Tasik Taiping. Alaaa tak berapa ingat sangat sebab pegi waktu malam and hujan. But I know this place sangat dekat ngan tasik tu.

Durian Gemok2

Hari ni hari Jumaat. Dah lama ku nantikan hari ni untuk beli durian kat pasar malam Putrajaya. Since malas nk beramai2 di pasar malam tu, I went there quite early. 3 PM sudah gerak g sana. So mmg tak ramai la. Some of peniaga pon tengah setup barang2 meniaga. Pusing2… jumpe la 1 gerai durian. Dengan hati yang girang sebab dah lama ngidam… ku beli 2 bijik. Lepas tu terus menuju ke rumah sambil memandu dengan mematuhi had laju sehingga kan bau durian yang diletakkan di dalam kotak mineral water telah melebar sayapnya kebahagian cabin kete. Perut pon berlagu Hip Hop craving nak makan durian. I believe masa tap ID kat gate depan tu mesti pak guard yang jaga tu pon tergoda dengan penangan bau durian ni. Bila dah sampai rumah… dengan cepatnya durian diseludup masuk dan dikopek 1 persatu.
 

Ni buah yang pertama. Buah yang kedua pon gemok2 mcm ni jugak. Sebiji ada 5-6 ulas je. Tapi setiap ulas tu gemok. Patut la berat ko masa timbang nak beli td berat bangat! Berpeluh aku nk byr.

TIPS untuk membeli durian:

1. Beli durian hanya bila ada pesaing berniaga di kawasan yang sama
2. Try negotiate harga
3. Pilih sendiri buah yang mana yang kita nak.
4. Kalau dorg yang pilih, check dulu kulit dia sama ada ok ke tak or ada lubang ke x. jangan tengok isi je.
5. Mintak peniaga tolong belah siap2 kat bawah buah tu supaya senang untuk dikopek nanti

TIPS untuk hilangkan bau durian

1. Letakkan sekeping roti putih pada tempat yang berbau durian tu (dalam cabin or boot kete or dalam rumah). Roti ni akan menyerap bau durian tu.
2. Untuk bau mulut, gosok gigi
3. Untuk bau nafas, makan roti putih beberapa keping.

Harga RON97 Naik ke RM2.50/liter

Sebelum ni ada dengar rumors mengatakan bahawa minyak RON97 akan naik lagi sepuluh sen daripada RM2.40 seliter. Semalam, cari la kat google and local news paper (online). Hanya ada 1 je hasil carian dari Google menyatakan bahawa harga RON97 akan naik lagi menjelang tengah malam 1 Februari 2011.
Hari ni, 1 Feb, bila pegi isi minyak, YES… memang harga RON97 dah naik. WOW. Peningkatan yang sangat mendadak sejak beberapa bulan ni. I still remember dulu bila isi full tank for my car will just cost me less than RM50. Then bila naik tahun lepas, less than RM60. Naik awal tahun ni less than RM70. And now naik lagi, sure less than RM80 utk full tank. *sedihnya*

I still remember dulu setahun sekali je naik minyak. Tu pon less than 10 cent skali naik. Now, kerap betol naik.

If this kenaikan is one of the way utk menampung kos tak naik tol selama a few years tu, baik la kekalkan kenaikkan tol seperti dalam perjanjian sedia ada, and tak naik kan harga minyak. Untuk org yang tak pakai tol (kerap) mcm aku ni, tak la effect sangat sebab memang jarang guna tol. Tapi ni minyak. Semua yang ada kereta/moto guna. Untuk yang guna minyak and tol, sama ja. Tak ada beza pun tol tak naik sebab duit kenaikan tu dah divert ke minyak – which will cost more.

Huh. I guess if our public transportation as efficient as in overseas (France for example), its okay for not having a car per people. But here, owh my. Memang kena cut certain budget and limit aktivity la kan.

Japanese Green Tea

Last few days I went to a shopping mall and suddenly I was thinking about green tea. I went to a shop to get a box of it. The first time I drink this tea was during a workshop held in Penang last year if I am not mistaken. That was the first time I drink green tea and I have fallen in love with the taste.



Based on the label (biggest font written in japanese), this tea leaves’ type is Sencha (煎茶^?, decocted tea). This is the typical type of Japanese green tea.

Why green tea and not black tea??
Let me share with you the health effects of this type of tea (summarized from wikipedia).

1. Antioxidant – more than black tea
   
2. reduce heart disease – by reducing cholesterol
   
3. prevent dental cavities – one of the reason is because we drink green tea without sugar
   
4. prevent kidney stones
   
5. prevent cancer
   
6. Improving urinary and brain function
   
7. eliminating indigestion
   
8. preventing fatigue
   
9. reduce weight

Suggestion: 4 cups of green tea per day, hot, without sugar

Yves Rocher Alamanda

Yves Rocher has opened a new branch – Alamanda Putrajaya. Since this is a new opening shop, the salesgirls are very friendly and helpful – same like in France. *thumbs up*

I look at the window and there are some promotion pack for perfume – I will drag my brother to come here soon. I get something for myself and be a member of Yves Rocher (my goal actually).

The lipstick from this brand is VERY GOOD!!! Its really moisturize my lips. This is a 'worth-it' product to get.

Smile… Smile… Smile…

Me: Hye. Today I nak beli perfume set yg tgh sale tu (sambil straight to men’s perfume area)

… wondering why is the price is double pulak…

Salesgirl: That one is for cologne - For Her

Me: Gulp. Then yang ada miniature ni berapa? Can I smell it again?

… I smelled 3 perfumes …

Me: How much will the single perfume cost?

… Calling my brother …

Me: Wei, yg ada miniature tu is cost RM 1 more than without miniature.

Brother: NVM just get with miniature.

… Hang-up and keep on smelling …

Me: This one (without miniature) smells good. I will take this one.

Brother: Mana perfume?

Me: This. (while taking out from my handbag) – NO PLASTIC BAG DAY

Brother: Where is the miniature?

Me: Owh miniature tu is another set. This one is single and no promotion. The smell is much better than the one with miniature (without any guilty feeling for wrong information)

… I am letting him smells the samples on paper …

Brother: Hmm… wangi but I couldn’t differentiate them

Moral of the story:

• Need to prepare some extra budget OR just say NO to the goods
• Make sure check the type of perfume is for HIM or for HER
• Don’t get over excited while shopping because you will missed the important point/term

New Glasses for My Eyes

Finally I have decided to make a new glasses because I wasn’t able recognize people anymore. After I have done with my surveys, I went to Menara Optometry, near to Warta/Bintang Bandar Baru Bangi. Their service is superb and the staffs are very kind and helpful.
Since I need to save some of the budget, I just pick the ‘student price’ promotion which the price displayed is including the ‘kanta’ (malas nak pakai translator).

I took quite a longer time to decide which frame suits to my face.

Shopping: High Heels

Dear shopaholic no matter what is your gender, today, SUNDAY 16 January 2011 is the final day of SALE specially for Padini members at all PADINI Holdings’ outlet (VINCCI, PDI, PADINI, SEED, MIKI, P&Co). Yesterday, I went to Alamanda to see is there any interesting item on sale by VINCCI’s shop.

And yeah, the sale is from 20% up to 50% off (for PADINI members only). I tried to find myself a pair of high heels.

My first choice… but the color that i have chosen is blue jeans color – no size. The sales girl gave me the brown one.

My second choice.. more ‘berani’

The last one… it looks good and really cute before I wear it…

but then… looks not good on me.

Try… walk… try… babbling… walk…

Finally… I have made my decision.

 

But wait a minute… I need sun glasses.

With only one try, this design suits me and I love it!

Owh ya, it was really surprising when I went to Alamanda and there are sooooo many empty parking spaces.

New Year… What’s new?

Perkara ini berlaku secara kebetulan. Kebetulan new year dan kebetulan jugak barang2 habis or dah sampai masa untuk ditukar yang baru.
What’s new with me?

1. Kitar semula. Fikir dulu sebelum buang. Sampah2 diasingkan mengikut jenis. Disposable | kertas | Plastik | Kaca
   
   
2. Berus gigi dan ubat gigi baru. Ubat gigi pulak dah tukar ke whitening sensitivity. Ini kerana sekarang banyak minum coffee so nak putihkan gigi la. Sensitivity tu pulak sebab perubahan cuaca and air, gusi ni manja2 pulak.  
   
   
3. Banyakkan makan buah2an. Tips: jangan beli epal dlm packet sebab byk lebam. Only 2 je yg boleh di makan.

Hari-hari Terakhir di Nantes, France

Minggu terakhir di France diisi dengan 2 cara; sehari berehat, sehari keluar jalan2. Bukan apa, bila keluar je mesti duit pun keluar jugak. Susah nak tahan napsu membeli ni. Hari tu keluar pegi beli souvenir utk keluarga dan teman2 di Malaysia. Ada la beli sikit2. Bawak duit pun limit je. Terima kasih la Safuan sebab temankan for that day. Aku ingat nak belanja hang makan hari tu, tapi duit tak cukup. Hahahaha! Lain kali aku belanja hang naaaa.

Destinasi pertama utk cuci mata, Passage Pommeraye.

Ini adalah kedai tempat org kaya2 shopping. Memang exclusive la tempat ni. Decoration for Xmas pun lawa. Kedai pertama… kedai chocolate. Fuh, jakun tengok chocolate berbentuk kasut tinggi.

 

Seterusnya tourist guide tu bawak ke kedai gift yg comel2 dan modern design. Perghh mmg kena dengan selera den. Siap ada talipon stilettos! Merah mak ngah lagi u~. Tapi tak de la mahal sngt. Murah jugak harga barang kat sini. We were there for like half an hour sebab I couldn’t decide what to buy. Then bila dah decided, dah que, endup tak jadi. HAHAHAHAHA!!!! Maafkan patik wahai Monseur Safuan! >.< Sebab ape cancelled? “Do I need this? What is the purpose keluar hari ni yea?” - “Yela2.. beli choc and souvenir SAHAJA!”.

Jadi niat pun diperbetulkan. Oleh kerana perut agak2 nak berbunyi, we both singgah ke kedai Pattisier (pastry). Pilihan ku adalah Pain au Raisin.

We go straight to the chocolate’s shop sambil makan roti tu. As usual, my translator tolong bacakan ingredient chocolate2 yg dijual.. takut ada alcohol ke ape ke. (Lupa lak amik pic kedai choc tu) =(

Then nak cari gift mcm magnet ke, keychain ke, postcard ke. Kitorg pun pegi la kat Tourism Center. HAHHHH!!! ada dijual kat situ. Senang keje! End up beli postcard. Jimat dan bole beli byk. Keychain n magnet agak tak affordable utk dibeli. Maaf yea kawan2. So shopping postcard kat situ jela.

Utk lunch, Restaurant L’Oasis menjadi pilihan. Restaurant ni jual kebab halal. I tried Chicken Mexican. Sodapppp!

Perut pon dah kenyang, duit pun dah habis, then time utk balik la. Tp sebelum balik, exercise dulu ke Fmac.

 

Wow.. kedai ni adalah kedai computer yang beeesarrrrr! Cakap je nak ape, semua ada. And murah (jika gaji anda dalam euro yea). Booth Apple jadi tumpuan. Kagum nengok computer2 and skrin2 besar gedabak kat sini.

Then I saw iPad… jual longgok mcm ni je okay!!! o_O
