Hadiah

.. but I don’t know hadiah untuk apa. Recently, there are too many hadiah given by my mak, ayah, and my brother. Believe it or not, this is our first digital camera!!! selama ni just pakai camera phone. Yes, we managed to survive dengan camera phone selama ni sebab tu we are so cerewet nak beli phone sebab nak ensure the camera is the good quality camera.

Why why why nak beli camera?

1st – Ada sale. And it is Sony… Cyber-shot + 4GB memory card. That day maybe lucky, dapat screen protector free lagi.

2nd – For business. Senang nak capture picture baju-baju untuk SHOL-B.

3rd – Senang untuk grad nanti. Boleh amik picture baaanyak2 lagi!!!

 

We are not randomly went to a shop yang ada tulis SALE! and then terus beli. Kebetulan, hari tu cari mesin jahit, nampak ada banner camera lain yang ada SALE, lepas tu nampak camera ni dengan harga yang sangat affordable together with 4GB memory card. We have decided untuk pegi tengok kedai yang lelain jugak. Kedai-kedai lain boleh bagi harga sama cuma beze pada memory card. Just 1GB. Giler kah digital camera pakai 1GB je memory card? Phone pun sekarang pakai 8GB memory card.

“Do I need this?”

I said to my brother, tak payah la beli lagi. I still can use the camera kat my phone ni. Fully utilize apa yang ada. We have decided to keep it down.

And then, one day… tergerak hati untuk pegi beli camera ni. Ada rezeki lebih sikit. So pegi lah sekali lagi ke kedai yang mula-mula pegi hari tu. Which I know camera yang kitorg tengok is the last stock. Kalau ada tu, rezeki la. Kalau tak ada tu, memang dah takdir camera itu bukan milik kami. Sampai-sampai kedai, Tadaaaa… masih ada! Alhamdulillah. Lepas dah test semua… negotiate bagai. Dapat lah harga dengan the best price and siap dpt screen protector free lagi. Alhamdulillah. My brother kind of terkejut bila aku hantar MMS sebab hari tu kata tak mau. But it is ours! Dengan camera ni la aku amik picture baju-baju di SHOL-B and also some of the pictures posted in this blog.

110211 Happy Birthday Yana

Last Friday was Yana’s birthday. We have an ad-hock lunch-birthday-celebration since she said that she has no plan during the afternoon.
We set a time to meet at 11am in Alamanda. It was very easy to find parking since everybody is still working during that time. >.^

Birthday girl.

We went from one wing to another, and still couldn’t decide where to eat. For almost an hour pusing2, finally we decided to have pizza. Yummy2.

Laju je dia bila nampak ice cream

As usual, bila pegi je sini akan rasa dulu flavor yang mana. Then I have decided to have cookies ‘N cream. Those who loves vanilla ice cream + oreo cookies, I strongly suggest you to try this flavor.



Yana got herself an ice cream with raspberry flavor. Yummy2.

Me: Ha… lari cepat. Lari! Lari!

End up we lepak kat depan Big Apple menghadap kedai phone sambil berbincang soal kerjaya dan masa depan.

One of the topics discussed (out of the topic) is green tea. I suggest her to buy the Green Tea from OSK brand. I planned to show her how the tea looks alike.

ISO setting for phone/digital camera

ISO... maybe you have seen this thing but you don't bother what it is. Before I start telling the use of ISO setting on your camera, let me starts with what thing that leads me to this information.

I am planning to buy a new compact digital camera. Which the common digital cameras that I used to see are usually lack quality during low light scene. This is the most problem that I have seen when I have night event. Don't talk about DSLR here.. it is for sure very good in this situation. Again.. I am talking about compact digital camera. So.. during my searching, I have found this information about ISO. This setting can be usually seen on digital camera and also some of mobile phone. I am currently using HTC phone and its camera has this setting. That is why I wanted to know what is the function of ISO setting.

Okay. Back to our topic. ISO is a camera's function that set's the sensitivity of the camera's image sensor. In a simple word, it is related to the brightness or light during capturing. The lower number of ISO means lower light and it leads to lower noise. So the result of your image will be a little bit darker than the photo with higher ISO.

Below are some tips for ISO setting (source):

1. ISO 100 - 200: sunny conditions
2. ISO 400 - 800: overcast or it is evening time
3. ISO up to 1600: night time or in cases of low light you might need to set your digital camera ISO to 1600. If you don't then your photo will appear too dark if at all.
