Saturday Evening with Yves Rocher

Hello! How’s your weekend? This weekend I’ve chose to pamper myself. Other than sleep… I and my friend, Salmi, went for make over.

Kebetulan Yves Rocher Alamanda ada promotion untuk produk terbaru, Hydra Vegetal.

Cuaca sekarang kan sangat panas masa tengah hari. Walaupun dah minum air more than 1.5L sehari, kulit tetap rasa kering. Seharian keje dalam sejuk air-cond pun boleh mengeringkan kulit. So we do really need a product to hydrate our skin from the outside too.

We starts our session by analyzing our skin.

Miss Nina’s my assistant through out the day and every time I went there. She’s very friendly, and helpful. She helps me to check my skin’s hydration. The result’s not so good… 33%. It indicates I have a dry skin. Well, I already know that since I keep on feel thirsty all the time.

I’ve gone through the following steps;

I love the feeling. Very cool. Not as cool as mint but I feel like I‘m applying wet tissue on my face every single minute. Very refreshing!! I even feel like to apply it to all over my body!

When we have finished, here’s the result…

58%. Any result is good as long as it is above 50%.

Impressive. SO many equipment!

Well, there are two makeup artists. Mine wasn’t really friendly boooooo

She feels unease when I keep on asking what product/item that she applied to my face. Of course I want to know every single thing that you’ve applied to my face… at least it can increase the potential for me to buy Yves Rocher’s makeup products. Don’t you get it miss?

What I can recall during the session’s;

She starts with eye’s area – eyelid’s sticker (makes your eyes bigger), foundation, eye based, light pink eyeshadow (based), brown eyeshadow (shading), eyeliner.

Then baru masuk bahagian seluruh muka.

Foundation – loose powder – pink blusher – eyebrow shadow (chocolate) – mascara – bulu mata palsu (optional).

Alahhhh, very basic lah. Bukan macam artis nak naik pentas.

• We have to control ourselves
• Know our nawaitu (intention) to go there
• Know the types of promotion – requires to buy with a minimum purchase or not
• What are the activities included in that package
• Try to avoid additional charges; Fake eyelashes (RM15), whole softcopy picture; 1cd (RM100), Laminate (RM10) --- these are ridiculous things that you should minimize your expenditure – you don’t even need it. Usually these are done by the ‘outsource’… not by the brand itself – Rational!

Jamuan Raya COIT 2012

Selamat hari raya aidilfitri to all Muslims. My bad lama sangat dah tak update blog. I am still adjusting my routine and time untuk berblog sejak keje ni. How’s your raya? Kejap je rasa sebulan syawal ni. Now dah masuk bulan Zulkaedah. Open houses? This year tak banyak sangat for me since I am still new here. But ada la a few. Most of my weekend hanya untuk rehat. Plus my universiti baru habis final exam last week. Phew. Later on I will share the story pasal my first course untuk semester ni.

Here is my picture together with my colleagues (a part of it) and the dean.

This is my 3rd time kot celebrate raya with COIT (as staff). Previous years lebih meriah sebab majority boleh datang. For this time,not many of us managed to attend the event due to outstation + final exam invigilation is on going. All in our head was marking marking and marking the answer scripts.

I left my camera at home! (Credit all pictures untuk my college) So I didnt managed to capture what do we have on that makan-makan day. Never mind, I will list out:

1. Nasi tomato ayam merah
2. bihun/mee sup (i took the sambal kicap and kacang a lot!)
3. Mee kari seafood (yummieh… I love this one)
4. Lemang with rendang (dah tak larat nak makan masa tu. Now sgt3 teringin!)
5. Koktail mixed fruit (tak sempat rasa. But I am pretty sure its yummy since out of stock cepat!)
6. Cakes… I love cakes! My favorita red velvet and choc cheese if im not mistaken.

Hadiah

.. but I don’t know hadiah untuk apa. Recently, there are too many hadiah given by my mak, ayah, and my brother. Believe it or not, this is our first digital camera!!! selama ni just pakai camera phone. Yes, we managed to survive dengan camera phone selama ni sebab tu we are so cerewet nak beli phone sebab nak ensure the camera is the good quality camera.

Why why why nak beli camera?

1st – Ada sale. And it is Sony… Cyber-shot + 4GB memory card. That day maybe lucky, dapat screen protector free lagi.

2nd – For business. Senang nak capture picture baju-baju untuk SHOL-B.

3rd – Senang untuk grad nanti. Boleh amik picture baaanyak2 lagi!!!

 

We are not randomly went to a shop yang ada tulis SALE! and then terus beli. Kebetulan, hari tu cari mesin jahit, nampak ada banner camera lain yang ada SALE, lepas tu nampak camera ni dengan harga yang sangat affordable together with 4GB memory card. We have decided untuk pegi tengok kedai yang lelain jugak. Kedai-kedai lain boleh bagi harga sama cuma beze pada memory card. Just 1GB. Giler kah digital camera pakai 1GB je memory card? Phone pun sekarang pakai 8GB memory card.

“Do I need this?”

I said to my brother, tak payah la beli lagi. I still can use the camera kat my phone ni. Fully utilize apa yang ada. We have decided to keep it down.

And then, one day… tergerak hati untuk pegi beli camera ni. Ada rezeki lebih sikit. So pegi lah sekali lagi ke kedai yang mula-mula pegi hari tu. Which I know camera yang kitorg tengok is the last stock. Kalau ada tu, rezeki la. Kalau tak ada tu, memang dah takdir camera itu bukan milik kami. Sampai-sampai kedai, Tadaaaa… masih ada! Alhamdulillah. Lepas dah test semua… negotiate bagai. Dapat lah harga dengan the best price and siap dpt screen protector free lagi. Alhamdulillah. My brother kind of terkejut bila aku hantar MMS sebab hari tu kata tak mau. But it is ours! Dengan camera ni la aku amik picture baju-baju di SHOL-B and also some of the pictures posted in this blog.

Hari Ko-kurikulum SKBA 2011

Pagi tadi berlangsunglah hari ko-ko kat sekolah mak. Kalau zaman sekolah aku dulu, kitorg panggil Hari Kantin. Kalau hari kantin ni…memang aktiviti menghabiskan duit beli makanan je. Zaman membesar dulu memang asek lapar n dahaga. Now… I dont know what to buy. But it is quite cool to go back to school seeing kids who keep on playing and running and EATING non-stop without have to think about the world and problem. How wonderful their life phase is!… and I was able to temporarily put away my problem… Even for just for a few hours.. :)

I have been there not so early since I have to do the laundry + I feel not so well on this morning. Fuhhh!

 

Mak is preparing some steamed corns while me.. ? coupon. Purchase RM20 to get a number for lucky draw. Am I lucky enough today?

Another one is a poster in LRT

Dulu I was too obsessed dengan popularity. Nak jadi model la nak jadi host TV la <—tapi a few years ago penah chubby so hasrat yang membara tu pon dah padam da. But… Thank you to Dr Siti yang suggested me to be one of the representatives to represent our university, UNITEN.

I still remember masa proses saringan, ada about 20 students yang tau, reg, and went there. Me? I was having my ASP.NET training at my college and tibe2 ada lec cakap the dean has requested one person to represent our college.

With the ad-hock calling, can u imagine what I was wearing during that time and then masa saringan tu?

my 1st experience ever masuk ke bilik server. Happy (or in precise words JAKUN). Can u imagine I am just a student and ada peluang masuk ke bilik server <—mcm budak2 dapat g zoo negara!

Tibe2 sorg model tu xdpt dtg, so I have additional 1 session: Chemical Lab

2 sessions of photo shoot within the same day by wearing new pair of open toe high heels (3.5’) <— i feel a lil bit better than die kot.

Its tiring but happy!

 

The excitement is much more when I saw ME on the newspaper, LRT (naik LRT semata2 utk amik pic).

I was shock sebab jadi cover for MOHE’s Postgraduate Program booklet. But yet… I am happy <— giler glamer

Hangout: ‘Old-Uni’ Friends

Though miles may lie between us

we are never far apart,

for friendship doesn’t count miles

After about 1 and half years we didn’t gather at the same time and event, finally we meet on last Thursday. Lepaking, chatting, eating, photo session – rasa macam zaman uni (foundation) dulu je :D

Thanks Yana, Sha, Ezan, and Ili for coming. The day would be much merrier if Shira comes along. But she couldn’t be able to make it due to her work commitment.

 

Me and Yana came quite early that day. We went to some gadget shops. I was kind of ‘jakun’ to see the ‘new’ Mines because the last time I went to there was about a few years back (still under renovation).

When everybody is there, we went to Nandos’ to fill our ‘grrrrrlll’ tummy – very hungry.

Yana, Sha, Ezan, Ili - 4 of them with a packet of sweets from France.

Our ‘appetizer|starter’ is TGV’s popcorn that is very well known as delicious popcorn ever!

TGV Cinemas di Mines dah berubah wajah! This cinema looks really exclusive with the new look – cool!

We are heading to ‘taman permainan air’ (I forgot the name) located at the roof top of new wing.

Jika ikut hati, nak stay lama lagi utk lepak, tapi since dah hujan tiba2… tak dapat la nak lepak lama2. That day was a great day. Really miss you all.
