We are always ALWAYS Always nampak apa yang orang ada dan apa yang diri sendiri tak ada and... we want to be like that kind of person or to be in their shoes. Sampaikan kadang-kadang kita 'buta' melihat apa yg telah dimiliki. What we actually don't realize is, will we 'fit' into that 'shoes'?
It is good to be better. But at the same time we need to learn about 'thankful' or Alhamdulillah syukur for all of the gifts borrowed. We might nampak the other people berjaya/populer/kaya raya while the other side nampak kehidupan yang satu lagi adalah tenang/sederhana/selamat/bahagia.
I have 2 situations/examples to share:
Wealthy:
Well... this is just an example. Farmer/pesawah. Life is not that rich. Kais pagi makan pagi, kais petang makan petang. Mengerah kuderat 4 kerat memecah keringat tengah panas terik. Income semusim (+-4 Bulan). He has a few kids and a wife. Live in a small kampung house with all of the very basic kelengkapan. 1 day a Director (Person B) has came to the kampung for his company's future project. With all of the elegance car, RMXXX,XXX income, outfit... good looking. Everything looks luxurious and perfect. Compare to the Person A tadi, macam langit dan bumi. Every villagers nak jadi macam Person B.They think life would be perfect when they have the wealthy. While for the Person B, he saw a very peaceful and calm life there. Of course, not at the kerahan keringat di tengah panas. But he saw the villagers have their own time with their kids, loyal wife, no broken family, no pressure with deadlines or big boss, no need to worry about their safety from being kidnap n etc.
Popularity:
I take Siti Nurhaliza for example. Siapa tak kenal her. The most popular singer yg dah menang beratus2 anugerah. We saw her luxury life with LV, Chanel, Ferrari. Dia pergi mana2 pun mesti org nk amik pic la, sain la. SHe's populer!
"I want to be like her... i want to be like her,,, i want to be a celebrity!"
But have we ever think about what she had/has/is gone/going through?.. especially masa remaja. Are you strong enuf untuk menjadi bahan bualan org? OMG. I cant ever think about that... baru fikir je otak dah letih. And cuba bayangkan, when there are many other people boleh hangout pakai t-shirt kusam g kedai depan rumah,makan kat warung or pasar malam, buy ice-cream walls Pelangi and Cokelet singgit kegemaran dari zaman sekolah (yummyyy).. We have so much freedom. No one care!... what will be happened if Siti Nuhaliza buat mcm tu? walawei... cover depan newspaper esok. at one point, of course she also want the freedom like us.. and at the same time, we are also want to own the LV handbag instead of mampu tengok je (for example).
I hope everyone get what I am trying to say. By standing at your point is not that bad. Try to figure out what is the best thing that you can do if u r 'lost' in an 'island'. You are still having the coconut tree for u to eat and drink from the coconut fruits. While for the person that 'stuck' in the 'boat', you have a plenty of fish/squids/prawn/crab inside the sea. Just eat it raw mcm makan sushi .
Allah Maha Adil. He gives sama rata. Ada lebih. Ada kurang untuk setiap makhluk. Mungkin kita nampak kekurangan diri / nasib malang yg sering menimpa sedangkan org lain bahagia. Calm. Bertenang (jangan bertendang). Allah telah beri hadiah-hadiah lain kepada kita. Cuba renung sekeliling. Tak ada hidup manusia yang sempurna kecuali bila dah masuk syurga akhirat nanti.
