I have my own collections from Paco Rabane, Estee Lauder, The Body Shop, Carolina Herrera (CH), L'Occitane, and Yves Rocher. I also loves to collect some miniatures such as Marc Jacobs, Victoria Secret and Burberry. The bottles are unique. 

Who does not like to smells good and pleasant? 

Today, I went to Nu Sentral. There is a Victoria Secret boutique. I always admire this shop. It smells good, and all those glitters gift sets are really attractive. There is a sales girl name Erin who's assisting me through out the selections. She is friendly, nice, and helpful. 

I have tried a few perfumes. Bombshell Diamonds, Bombshell in Bloom, Angel Gold, Noir Tease, and Fearless. There are many more variants! I am trying not to confuse myself. In the end, I choose to get Fearless. 

Then I ask her where are the item on sale (Up to 70%). She assists me to one corner and tadaaaa... crazy after discount price. Set with pouch, set with luggage tag, complete set of make-up palette from only RM50. Crazy crazy crazy. 

Finally, these are things that I have bought.

Jumaat dan barang basah... dan 1 talian hayat

Jumaat adalah hari yang dinantikan untuk membeli barangan basah. Restocking time. di mana shopping barang dapur yang best? mesti la pasar malam putrajaya. 

Makanan laut yang segar, sayur-sayuran yang berlambak-lambak. Of course ada gerai-gerai yang favorite. So today restock makanan laut such as ikan siakap (teringin sebab tengok masterchef professional masak hari tu), udang laut, dan ikan merah isi (my brother's all time favorite). Plan nak masak siakap untuk berbuka puasa ni.

Dah kata puasa, tekak ni lapar je rasa. singgah pulak di bahagian bazar ramadhan yang terletak seberang jalan je. Si abang teringin makan nasi tomato (tapi balik rumah rupanya pakcik tu bagi nasi briyani). Then nampak pulak kebab melawati (ke melewati??). teringin kebab daging. padahal lupa yang diri ni tak la boleh tahan sangat dengan daging kebab (allergy). dapat kebab daging. dengan happynya selebar senyuman pada kotak happy meal nak balik masak. tiba-tiba...

kereta tak boleh start! bateri habis. dah la tinggal 1 je kereta comel biru tu yang ada sebab si perkasa perak tengah warded. oh my... macam mana... macam mana... 

bing... si comel biru pakai insurance AXA. cuba cari dalam laci tak jumpa sticker auto assist diorang (lupa yang fon ada internet). Fine lah. call kurnia insurance (1-800-88-3833) since si perkasa perak pakai kurnia insurance. call centre kurnia memang tidak pernah mengecewakan. the operator will try their best to assist in any car break-down. tapi untuk this time kurnia cannot help to send their people to help us. BUT, the operator did asked where are we and they gave us the contact number untuk foreman yang mereka tahu within that area. may Allah bless you. they did gave me 2 numbers. one of them is Jackson Towing Service (Joey 016-3324616).

we called joey. with a very polite and fast service, she has arranged everything for us. she said the foreman will arrive in 1 hour. And Alhamdulillah, tepat satu jam lepas call, the foreman arrived.

nak jadikan cerita, naseb la ada some extra money masa tu. and that amount cukup-cukup tak lebih tak kurang daripada yang dicaj. Alhamdulillah.

While waiting for them to arrived, my brother yang demam dan suara serak ala ramli sarip, fulfil his time by playing a minion game on his iPad. Non-stop okay! 

What about me? Continue shopping makanan nak berbuka dalam kereta since we are just realised that we dont have any drinks to berbuka puasa. i have got myself air soya and sate. cukup la setakat syarat berbuka puasa. 

the foreman came tepat pada waktu azan. so we just berbuka dengan seteguk air while waiting kereta untuk siap. 5-10 minit and its done! the foreman, chen, and Low, were helpful and friendly.

Dalam perjalanan balik rumah, i said to my brother, we are lucky to live in Malaysia that has multiple races. Cuba bayangkan kalau malaysia ni ada malay or muslim saja, our car break-down masa nak berbuka puasa. For sure tak ada foreman yang willing to come masa nak berbuka puasa. kalau ada pun mesti charge more than usual. So, respect each other. masing-masing are surviving to live in this world and semua cari makan.

Indulging

Bismillah.

Berbahagianya hari ni. Off day from work sebab menghabiskan sisa2 cuti yang takleh nak carry forward.

Bangun sesuka hati kul berapa.. lazing around sampai pening sebab perut kosong… lunch order delivery je walaupun lambat sampai sejam… owh tak kesah la.

Lepas Zohor, terus kluar rumah menuju ke alamanda bersama2 dengan To-Buy-List yang dicatat dalam notebook lawa yang dihadiahkan oleh kak Naomi.

Walaupun kat jalan pening kepala dengan moron-drivers, my mood still tak terusik. It is my day-off. Around 3pm, sampai di Alamanda. Owh VIPnya dpt park depan entrance sebab semua org dah masuk office blk.

Misi menjejaki barang2 yang on sale pun bermula. Parkson, Japanese Home Deco, Yves Rocher, Watsons… those are places that I went to.

Jalan-jalan cari barang… ada promo yang menarik perhatian from YR. Shower gel & cream perfume. 3 items for RM38.

This product range sangat wangi and menarik perhatian. Well, there is another item yang betul2 tengah sale… their Vanilla perfume set. less 60%. tinggal RM86 kot. Hampir-hampir la nak terbeli. I keep on borrowing mantra from Confession of A Shopaholic movie, “Do I need this?”. Hahaha sounds so drama… but it works! Lagi pun, I have just bought a perfume in Oct, so jangan membazir wahai shakiranova!

Jalan punya jalan, kering pulak tekak ni. Well, one of my plan g alamanda is to redeem my starbucks drink. Complementary grande from starbucks sebab dah cukup 10 kali beli guna their card. aaaaa saya suka saya suka (nada suara meimei upin ipin)! Thank you!

Balik je rumah, update stock shower foam.

I will spend more time masa mandi to decide nak pakai which shower foam.

Somehow, today I have figured out that shopping is my therapy. I had a couple of hectic weeks before, and today, I feel very happy… although it decreased some money, but yet, nothing is free kan.

Saturday Evening with Yves Rocher

Hello! How’s your weekend? This weekend I’ve chose to pamper myself. Other than sleep… I and my friend, Salmi, went for make over.

Kebetulan Yves Rocher Alamanda ada promotion untuk produk terbaru, Hydra Vegetal.

Cuaca sekarang kan sangat panas masa tengah hari. Walaupun dah minum air more than 1.5L sehari, kulit tetap rasa kering. Seharian keje dalam sejuk air-cond pun boleh mengeringkan kulit. So we do really need a product to hydrate our skin from the outside too.

We starts our session by analyzing our skin.

Miss Nina’s my assistant through out the day and every time I went there. She’s very friendly, and helpful. She helps me to check my skin’s hydration. The result’s not so good… 33%. It indicates I have a dry skin. Well, I already know that since I keep on feel thirsty all the time.

I’ve gone through the following steps;

I love the feeling. Very cool. Not as cool as mint but I feel like I‘m applying wet tissue on my face every single minute. Very refreshing!! I even feel like to apply it to all over my body!

When we have finished, here’s the result…

58%. Any result is good as long as it is above 50%.

Impressive. SO many equipment!

Well, there are two makeup artists. Mine wasn’t really friendly boooooo

She feels unease when I keep on asking what product/item that she applied to my face. Of course I want to know every single thing that you’ve applied to my face… at least it can increase the potential for me to buy Yves Rocher’s makeup products. Don’t you get it miss?

What I can recall during the session’s;

She starts with eye’s area – eyelid’s sticker (makes your eyes bigger), foundation, eye based, light pink eyeshadow (based), brown eyeshadow (shading), eyeliner.

Then baru masuk bahagian seluruh muka.

Foundation – loose powder – pink blusher – eyebrow shadow (chocolate) – mascara – bulu mata palsu (optional).

Alahhhh, very basic lah. Bukan macam artis nak naik pentas.

A few tips to share here are – for this kind of promotion;

• We have to control ourselves
• Know our nawaitu (intention) to go there
• Know the types of promotion – requires to buy with a minimum purchase or not
• What are the activities included in that package
• Try to avoid additional charges; Fake eyelashes (RM15), whole softcopy picture; 1cd (RM100), Laminate (RM10) --- these are ridiculous things that you should minimize your expenditure – you don’t even need it. Usually these are done by the ‘outsource’… not by the brand itself – Rational!

My personal walk in "wardrobe"

Impian hati untuk memiliki build in wardrobe sebenarnya. Belum sampai rezeki lagi untuk ke tahap tu. End up I chose to get this very affordable hanger from IKEA.

Our (with my brother) first trial adalah sangat mengecewakan. Penyidai yang diidamkan sold out! 

A month later, we try our luck again. Lucky us, they have just restocked it! We've got ourselves 6 hangers (without even thinking how to carry it). The feeling is like nampak makanan atas tray masa buffet Ramadhan.

The concept of shopping in IKEA is cash and carry (except for furniture). This hanger requires just a little of time spent to join each of components/parts. Even a lady can do it!

Some important info if you want to go to IKEA. Their business hour!!!!

Flat Shoes from SANTA

This is an ‘alien’ thing for me. I don’t really like flat shoes… or even sandals. Most of them melecetkan kaki and not that comfortable bila berjalan.

I love high-heels so much (no doubt) until one point where I realized… dah tak ada nafsu nak beli high heels. So I was thinking about flats. Flat sandal is totally out since before this I used to get myself a flat sandal but baru pakai 2 weeks dah putus sebab; selalu kene air and bila berjalan selalu terkepak kat tengah2 tu <—or bila pakai flat memang kene jalan seret2??? :/ Another reason that i dislike flats sebab… kalau hujan, kaki akan basah. If pakai platform high heels, you can walk just like not raining.

Ok… done with my bad perception about high heels.

The perceptions are still remain the same until one day, I hang out with my brother. We went to Sunway Pyramid. On that very sunny day, I told him I want to find a flat shoes. No more high heels for this time. We go round and round. Then I have found this one shop.. near to the escalator, SANTA. I was just looking around. Then I saw this one flat shoes. The design is unique. The color is pretty (black, brown, peach). I asked for the largest size (usually not that large for me). The sales girl came with the size 40.

At the moment when I tried, I can feel the good chemistry between me n this flats. The platform (tapak depan – I dont know what to call it) is quite thick and soft. Which is good. Because I prevents me daripada rasa direct contact between tulang kaki and lantai. When I walk, I can feel the shoe’s walking together with me. This is incredible!

Then I starts looking into the quality – stitch, glue, and material. Everything was nicely done! The one that attracts me some more is the ‘girly’ details at the shoe soles (I have just google translated “tapak kasut) . I’ve never seen something like this.

 

Now, I have been using this shoe for about 3 months. The condition is still good, very well, and value for money. And it didnt kills my legs.

For the flat shoes lover, you should try to get one from this shop. For the flat haters, you can now reduce your hate by using this flat shoes.

Some how, there is one thing that flat shoes cannot beat high-heels… help us to increase our height.

I love my new flats!

It is really rare for me to beli flats sebab typically flats’ designs are too common. Kalau tak yg berjari 1, tali from left to right. Alaaaa…. boring lah.

BUT

Yesterday masa jalan2 kat Sunway Carnival Mall (owh… niat asal nak beli ink printer je)… ada ternampak WalkIn buat sales! up to 70%! LeSandee (dijual di walkIn) is another my favorite brand after Vincci. The quality is tip top! I ask mak to come along and tengok2 kot2 ada yang berkenan di hati. Nahhhh mak bought 2 pairs. And I… I get myself this lovely sandal.

The design is really unique and believe me it is really super comfortable! when I walk, I feel like im just wearing socks (it can be an open-toe socks)

Finally, We’ve got 3 pairs that cost us less than RM100! Woooohhhoooo! What a great shopping masa sales!

Customer Review: Alamoda Silk House (Sg. Petani, Kedah)

Alamoda Silk House adalah salah satu anak syarikat Jakel.

Sama la macam Ariani. There is no Alamoda or Jakel in Penang. One day, me and mak tengah mencari-cari kedai kain yang lain daripada selalu. And ada a few times jugak nampak banyak kedai-kedai kain area Sungai Petani ni and one of them is Alamoda. Randomly walk-in nak tengok dulu macam mana kain-kain yang ada di situ.

My Goal: Kain selendang yang berat untuk dijadikan Anggun #2

Sebelum ni kualiti memang dah okay. But I want kain yang lebih tebal. Sampai je di pintu masuk, kami dah disambut dengan friendly-nya oleh pekerja-pekerja dorg. They are wearing tudung exactly the same material like I am searching for. I stopped one of them and tanya what is the material tudung yang dorg tengah pakai. And they have directed me to the upstairs. Sepanjang perjalanan tu, I can say tak ada satu pun pekerja yang bermuka masam and they all looks very energetic. Semua senyum and greet us well.

Sampai-sampai in the targeted area, memang exactly the same kain yang selama ni aku cari. Lepas tu ada nampak kain yang baru sampai. Dorg tengah gulung. Polkadot! Ho Mai! Come to mama. Rembat la a few colors. Boleh tambah koleksi nak meniaga (SHOL). Pening kepala nak kira berapa meter nak beli.

Sementara tunggu kain-kain dipotong, aku and mak ushar la bahagian langsir. We have found this one English theme langsir. Cantiknya! and bidang besar. So no need to beli sampai 9 meter. 4 meter dah cukup. It save a lot! Then cari yang jarang pulak. Nampak ada 1 ready made langsir. We KIVed dulu sebab nak cari yang tak jahit lagi. Pusing punya pusing tak ada motif yang berkenan di hati. Finally we took the ready made one.

Owh did I told you that masa tu is the 1st day of SALE?

Owh ya, this is the lovely salesperson, Surayati yang setia dari awal sampai habis. Dengan dia senang. Cakap je nak buat tudung macam mana, langsir untuk tingkap macam mana, she knows berapa meter yang diperlukan.

 
Siap dorg tolong hantar sampai ke kereta lagi. Masa ni tak tau lagi rupa-rupanya beg-beg tu sangat berat.

Mak’s Smiling Face

What else yang boleh menyenangkan hati selain melihat mak tersenyum?

First of all, thank you so much to our Prime Minister, Dato’ Seri Najib kerana memberi bantuan Baucar Buku 1Malaysia kepada pelajar-pelajar IPT. Since I am almost finish my Master, I am fully utilize this voucher to ganti… well.. apart of ganti balik most of the papers, pens, any kind of mak’s stationary that I have pow-ed before.

We went shopping spree di kedai Sri Maju, Sungai Petani, Kedah. Kedai kat situ memang murah giler baq hang! Lama jugak la masa spent there. But the thing yang paling best is I have asked mak to chose 1 pen yang agak exclusive dan berkualiti, LAMY. This pen is made in Germany.

Just to share with you that it is a different happy feeling sebagai orang yang memberi (which selama ni asek menerima je kan). I feel the satisfaction is different to see her smile while I am saying “Mak pilih je apa yg mak nak.”.

Tak dapat bayangkan? Cube pegi Parkson or Jusco, beli voucher RM200 (or u need to increase more), bawak ur parents pegi situ, n bagi kat dorg voucher tu. Which ur parents must suka shop kat situ.

I want to cari more duit untuk bawak mak, ayah, and my brother p shopping.
