Assalamualaikum

Hari ini saya nak share dengan pengunjung TheThickTalk, satu surah yang dipetik daripada Kitab Suci Al-Quran. Surah ini boleh dikira sebagai surah peringatan kerana ia menceritakan mengenai datangnya hari kiamat, saat nyawa dicabut, dan kejadian manusia, yang menunjukkan kebesaran dan kekuasaan Allah S.W.T.

Terasa jahil dan kerdil sangat diri ini apabila baru mengetahui maksud-maksud ayat suci Al-Quran tersebut. Ini baru 1 surah, belum masuk surah-surah yang lain lagi.

haha! this is crazy! Seumur hidup menjahit tak penah2 jarum pon patah.

Whatever challenges that i faced, hasilnya sememangnya memuaskan hati.

Stuck! di petrol station

Once upon a time, I sent my father to his office. During my way back home, I stopped by at a petrol station to topup my Touch n Go. When I want to continue my journey, my car won’t start. There is no spark to starts the engine. I keep on trying to start, lock and unlock the car, auto start and still no good response from the engine. I couldn’t reach my father through phone. Then I contacted my mother to get my father’s office number and told her my situation. She said she will send it to me. Then she called again…

Mother: Adik, mak dah sent number ayah. Tp cuba adik check kat gear tu. Ntah2 kat gear reverse.

Me: *terlopong* Ok. sat nak check.

SHE IS RIGHT! The current gear is N. This is the reason for the car refused to start.

P.s.: I did the call inside the convenient store. Not inside my car.

My Final Lab Session

This semester, I feel very honored to be trusted to teach an elective subject (lab) offered for Final year students in the university I enrolled. Since this is an elective subjects, I have only 14 number of students. All of them are very hardworking and never stop doing their best to catch-up with the syllabus.

Dear students, I love your independent attitude. This is what a final year student should have. I believe those lessons, and assessments that you have experienced/gathered from your previous lecturers and subjects taken have trained you to be a part of what you are (now).

I am wishing ALL THE BEST on your future career. InshaAllah… kalau dah rezeki tu, tak kemana.

How to Hide Iron’s Mark on Your Blazer

MY BAD!!! One day, I accidently set the temperature of iron as Max – I didn’t noticed it. Then I straightly iron my blazer.

T___T

I have got this mark.

I used to wear this blazer only once. Tak kan nak buang kan?

One day, I was thinking about how to hide it. I tried to put ribbon. but it looks weird. Then I have got an idea to put some beads on it – Why don’t?

I am using 2 types of beads – fancy (silver) and Japan (dark grey). Japan beads is a little bit small. The price is also a little bit higher than other beads.

Macam-macam cara nak buat. I referred to the internet. Alahai.. susahnye nak ikut step orang lain. Then I start to do it by instinct.

Nak jahit garis lurus je pon jadi senget. A few times jugak la try and a few times tu was around 3-4 jam.

A try sewing on a box – to get straight view. – still… senget.

Final solution…

Hasilnya…

The iron mark is hidden.

Then tangan gatal2 nak tambah manik pada butang pulak.

Conclusion: It is not an easy thing to sew beads especially to draw the straight line.

Cara Lilit Selendang Siti inspired by Hana Tajima’s ‘awning’ with Anak tudung syria

Panjang betul title posting kali ni. Tudung ni sangat simple and tak perlu risau senget ke terlipat ditiup angin ke. sebab awning dia memang tak tetap.

Bahan2 yang diperlukan:

• Selendang panjang (Sponsored by: Selendang Hijab Online (SHOL)
• 1 pin tudung dagu
• 1 pin untuk atas kepala (jarum peniti pun boleh)
• anak tudung syria (Nak dapatkan anak tudung Hana Tajima? Klik sini)

Step 1:
Pakai anak tudung syria. Letakkan selendang di atas kepala (even panjangnya)

Step 2:
Lilit kiri dan kanan ke atas kepala. tak perlu tarik yea. biar je dia loose. Pinkan. Make sure pin sekali dengan anak tudung supaya selendang terletak elok di atas kepala.

Step 3:
tarik bahagian dalam tudung (kiri dan kanan)

Combination step 3 and 4: tarik bahagian dalam selendang n pinkan

Step 4:
Pinkan supaya ia menutupi bahagian leher.

Lilit Selendang Pin di Bahu

There are many ways untuk menggayakan selendang. It depends on people, occasion and mood. Hari tu saja ja cuba lilit dengan cara lain. simple and senang je. Jadi, I would like to share it with 3ters here.

Langkah 1
Adjust selendang (lebih kurang 3/4) then pin pada bawah dagu. Untuk dapatkan hasil yang terbaik, tarik hujung selendang (for 1 side) biar sampai dekat tengah2 kepala, baru pin pada bawah dagu.


Langkah 2:
Tarik hujung lagi 1 sampai lilit ke kepala.

Langkah 3:
Tarik bahagian lagi 1 (langkah 1), Pinkan pada atas kepala bersama dengan lilitan langkah 2 tadi (lapisan langkah 1 di bahagian bawah langkah 2). pastikan ada lebihan panjang daripada lilitan Langkah 2.

Langkah 4:
Gulung/Genggam lebihan lilitan tadi.

Langkah 5:
pin genggaman selendang td bersama2 dengan selendang lapisan dalam dan baju supaya terletak elok di bahu.

Hasilnya

Lawatan Sambil ‘Mengajar’ ke Library

Ini adalah kali pertama ke library atau lebih dikenali sebagai Bibliotheque dalam bahasa French di university ni. Menurut kata tourist-guide-sukarela-wakil-Malaysia-d-Nantes, Safuan, di library ni terdapat buku2 yang berkaitan dengan computer, engineering, dan design kerana library ni ada pusat tumpuan bagi pelajar2 Ecole Polytech, Ecole Design, dan Ecole de Mines untuk mencari bahan2 rujukan. Library ni tak besar mcm library UNITEN. Comel je size nye. Setingkat je pon. Buku2 disini adalah dalam bahasa Perancis. Buku dalam bahasa Inggeris ada 1 rak je. Tu pun utk persediaan menghadapi exam English.

Owh, kenapa tajuk tu lawatan sambil mengajar?? sebab explanation panjang lebar mengenai computer, programming telah pon diberikan kepada tourist-guide-sukarela-wakil-Malaysia-d-Nantes sepanjang lawatan ke rak buku komputer.
