Overall, I like this BB Cushion because it is affordable and the quality is acceptable. I purchase it directly from Korea through Lazada Mall, Lazada Korea Mall. In term of price, it is very affordable, which around RM24-35 (depends on current sale promotion) for 15g. I purchased during a special sale by Lazada. 

The packaging colour is white. The weight is light and well sealed. It comes together with a cushion as the applicator. There is no refill comes together with the purchase. 

The application coverage is okay. It covers flaws and uneven tone. I can use this product without using concealer and I am ready to go out. The best thing when I apply this product is my skin feel moisten instantly. I feel like there is a water layer absorbs well into my skin. My skin type is dry. It suits me well. My face does not feel dry at all even after 5 hours of applying this product. This product gives glow satin finishing which is very suitable for dry skin type.

Insulting in public doesn't lift you up. It defines who you are.

End of the year 2016 - matte lipstick trend - dark color.

I love makeup since my teenager's life. I have tried multiple brands and various makeup tools and ways. Pink - soft pink is way too safe - looks young, natural, fresh and match in most of the occasions. These are reasons why every woman will have at least one pink lipstick. As a frequent lipstick user, until when I have to play safe? I can use this color until I reach 80 years old.

This year, I try one step ahead with dark maroon lipstick. It is kind of bold step for me. By using this lipstick, I have to be very careful on my makeup and outfit including my shawl. Know how to balance it.

This 'culture' or 'view' is still awkward for some people. I may look crazy or psycho for them. Some people cannot accept it.. because they are not used to it. It is okay with me.

Because of some people cannot accept this new changes, I was insulted by them on my face and in front of public.
"You look like conjuring."
"You look like hantu."
"You look like orang tua."
"You look like hantu kak limah."

I just afford to reply, this is a new trend.

Some of you may think why I didn't respond back in harsh words? It is because they can't accept it. No matter what I say, they will just refuse to try to understand. They can't accept that this is different from what they used to see.

But...
What is their right to say those harsh words to me?
What is their right to hurt my feeling for the things that their mind can't accept it?
What is their right to humiliate me in public?

Because they are older than me?

"Biasalah.. orang tua". No. This perception should stop. No matter how old you are, you should respect everyone.

I am still young, and I should try this color. Later, when I reach their age, I am not going to use this color anymore - later jadi orang tua tak sedar diri pula. At least I have tried this bold color.

I am the same Shakirah no matter what lipstick color that I am using.

It smells.. Roses?

Me and my brother have a habit where we will spend our weekend going to some favorite 'port' to buy magazine/book <-- exemption for income tax too! He always with cars magazine, and I am with woman/beauty magazine.

I am a huge fan of Female Magazine. Besides the very useful content (makeup, recipe, skin care), what else can be the reward for the reader? Of course free gifts! I used to get Marc Jacobs and CH miniature perfume, a sample of Kinohimitsu cereal meal and many more. Oh I am trapped!

I have never tried Anna Sui before this because it is quite an exclusive brand. Alhamdulillah, Now I have a chance to use it.

And presenting the most attractive lipstick and its casing...

It does looks like an ice cream. This patrick-starfish-look-a-like is actually a cream mate lipstick which I never have it before. Plus, it moisturize my super-dry-sensitive-lips too!

With this type of casing, no wonder Anna Sui is an exclusive makeup brand.

I have tried all of them. It does smells like roses. Those who likes English style and roses, this brand may be the perfect choice.

For this time, I try not to jimat-jimat pakai makeup. Because if I do so, endup tak habis pun. Lagi sayang.

Makeup Tutorial: Lip gloss merah

Yang merah itu saga... Saga BLM?

This time I nak share makeup tutorial yang hanya fokus pada bibir. Bibir meghah, sapa tak suka. Cuma berani atau tak saja.

Ok, basic item yang diperlukan hanyalah;

1. Lipgloss merah
2. tisu
3. jari

Step A: Pastikan anda sudah apply basic mekap macam yang diajar sebelum ni... Hanya follow step 1 sampai 3.. Boleh klik sini... Makeup for Raya 2013 - Day time makeup. Pastikan muka anda kelihatan pucat especially bahagian bibir... same color with kulit pun tak apa.

Step B: Guna Lipgloss daripada The Body Shop. Lipgloss ni lain daripada yang lain sebab sangat melembapkan bibir. Pilih color Raspberry. 

Step C: Apply pada tengah bibir dahulu. Then apply dari tepi bibir sampai ke bahagian tengah. Sapu pada seluruh bibir.

Step D: Ambil sehelai tisu, Lipat 2, kemudian tekapkan pada bibir. Ini dapat kekalkan warna lipgloss pada sapuan kedua.

Step E: Ratakan (blend) antara sempadan bibir dengan kulit muka dengan jari. This is to get well blend red and tak nampak macam pakai sticker bibir.

Step F: Apply semula lipgloss

Step G: Blend kan semula 'frame' bibir.

Step H: Finally...

Step I: Try to smile... make sure warna merah tak lekat pada gigi. :P

Makeup for Raya 2013 - Day time makeup

Since hari raya makin menjelang tiba, of course kita nak nampak cantik dan segar sentiasa. Lebih-lebih lagi orang perempuan yang selalu sibok didapur masak sampai tengah malam. We dont want to have a 'hantu kak limah' looks masa pagi raya or attending open house nanti. Here, i want to share a very simple refreshing makeup steps yang everyone can do it! it takes less than 5 minutes to have this natural looks.

Here are the basic items required

1. Avon Blusher Brush

2. IN2IT 2-way foundation

3. Thebodyshop blusher

4. Olay White Radiance serum

5. Thebodyshop lip gloss

6. IN2IT mascara

7. Lipice lipbalm

I am trying my best to use and share the most affordable and great products that will not going to harm my skin/face.

For example, I am usually use TheBodyShop All-in-One Face Base. This cost RM75.00. But this 2-way cake sangat menjimatkan. For a heavy user (apply 2 times per day), I will only buy it once every 2.5 months. But in this tutorial I replaced it with IN2IT 2-way foundation. it works almost the same with TheBodyShop face base but i can feel it makes my skin a bit dry. The price is around RM23.

Throughout this tutorial, i will share some reviews of the product that i use.

Moisturiser adalah perkara paling basic untuk menjaga kelembapan kulit. My skin is best suits with Olay products. I am usually use the moisturiser. But this time, I am going to use the serum. This product is really economic. 1 small dot untuk whole face. It is a bit pricy. But sometimes we can get it with a very low price bila watsons buat sale. 

sebelum apply bedak, perkara yang paling penting adalah lipbalm. this is to ensure bibir lembap. selain tu, it helps untuk dapat warna lipstick yang sebenar (without pengaruh 'ikut darah'), dan lipstick tahan lebih lama.

Some people lebih suka apply foundation, then baru loose powder. Since i don't want my face to feel 'cakeky', i prefer to have all in one powder, despite foundation selalu mengecewakan bila tak pandai nak apply, dan loose powder asek berterabur dalam handbag. Euh!

Since bedak ni sekali dengan foundation, add more on darker (eye area). Untuk lips, we need to tap-tap atas bibir. Please jangan sapu... just tap-tap. It will blend dengan lipbalm tadi. Our target here to get a pale face.

Blusher helps a lot in making our face looks fresh! I love blusher from thebodyshop. sebab... economic, protect my skin, and long-lasting. Untuk blusher yang bersaiz kecil, it can last up-to 1.5 year. This time i choose yang ada shimmering. kalau ambil gambar, it will gives a special effect yang berkilat. selain tu, blusher from thebodyshop tidak menyebabkan jeragat. Yes, zaman dulu i used to pakai blusher dari brand A***. after 2 years, memang nampak kesan jeragat di pipi. :(

For this time, gunakan blusher yang berwarna pink untuk disapu disekitar cheek area sampai ke bahagian tepi hidung. Avoid bahagian muncung hidung. Senyum untuk dapatkan cheek area tersebut. once done dengan pipi dan sisi hidung, sapu sedikit warna pink di bahagian dagu.

Now is the time untuk highlighting. Highlight di bahagian tulang pipi (only 1 line di atas tulang pipi) dan bahagian tengah hidung.

Mascara is optional. Kadang-kadang termalas juga nak apply. as usual, bila nak pakai mascara kene pakai zig-zag. I am using mascara from in2it sebab mudah nak cuci. guna air, kepit bulu mata dengan jari, tarik. tak perlu makeup removal. well, i used to pakai brand lain... ya Allah, tercabut bulu mata pun tak hilang2.

now, final step. lip gloss from thebodyshop. I love this colour. nampak natural. Dulu I have a nightmare dengan lipgloss brand S********. Asal pakai je mesti bibir pecah. and the lipgloss berbau chemical. But this lipgloss sangat berbeza. sangat moisturising and long lasting. You can get this for RM39. By applying lipbalm, and foundation+bedak dulu pada bibir, we can get the actual color of the lipgloss/lipstick.

and that is all.

Customer Review: US vs France

US vs France. No.. I am not talking about war or any political issues. I am talking about some women’s passion – Lipstick.

Last week, I have rewarded myself a MAC lipstick.

The story begins…

When I was a student, I do really admire this one cosmetic product, MAC. The color, the prestige, the brand, the packaging, economic… everything seems perfect! (For a guy, MAC is something similar like Ferrari). During that time, I couldn’t afford to get one.

When I went to France, I have been introduced to this one brand, Yves Rocher. It is a botanical product. What attract me the most is their lipstick. Very moisturizing, beautiful color, very affordable. But still, MAC product was something that is always in my dream to own one day.

The day has come. For about a year I have been happily using 3 Yves Rocher lipsticks, I finally ‘betrayed’ it once. I have bought a lipstick from MAC. I’ve got myself the most lovely sweet pink color – the color that I was dreaming about since many years ago.

New MAC store is opened in Alamanda Putrajaya. I was a bit nervous when entering the store. It is my dream to step in there – like kids entering the candy shop. I was entertained by a lovely salesgirl. She assists me to try the lipstick, powder, and blusher. Variety of colors. For blusher, to be frank, I love blusher from The Body Shop more! In the end, I just got myself the lipstick that cost me RM68 – not bad huh.

A normal procedure when you’re the first timer in using this product – fill in a form that I cant recall the exact name but something related to warranty –  a bit technical word.

I was happy! Again, I love the color. When I applied this lipstick on my lips, I don’t need any lip gloss. It is “wet”-looking enough.

After about a week that I have been using this product, I feel a bit disappointed. The promising moisturizer is not that moist. I need to apply an additional lip balm before applying the lipstick.

If using Yves Rocher lipstick, I don’t need any other lip balm to moist my lips. Now I realized that why should I get another brand that couldn’t take care of my lips?

Sorry MAC, you have disappointed me. I was happy when I went into your shop. I was happy when I went out from that shop. But I think, Yves Rocher suits a dehydrated-person like me, more.
